6 Months Temporary ContractWe are seeking an experienced, hands-on Group Reporting Accountant to join our dedicated and talented finance team. This is a role that requires a "roll up sleeves" approach and someone who can make a meaningful impact.You will be primarily responsible for the preparation of our consolidated monthly financial results, ensuring that our Board receive accurate, insightful and timely information to support their decision making.What you will be doing as a Group Reporting AccountantPreparation of the monthly consolidated cash flow, balance sheet and income statement.Reviewing and challenging inputs from finance teams for results, forecasts and budgets.Posting certain adjustments through journals on behalf of the Group.Performing month-end controls, including balance sheet (payroll and intercompany) and system reconciliations.Management accounting responsibility for central cost centres (including certain transformation activities).Providing guidance and training to Finance on reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes and systems.Reviewing and challenging the monthly Board report.Support the external reporting team with the delivery of our year-end accounts and audit.Supporting projects within Group Finance across transformation, technical accounting, systems and fixed assets.What should you bring to the role?To effectively perform this role, the successful candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA or equivalent).
