We are looking for an organised and detail-focused HR and Payroll Assistant to provide essential administrative support across a busy HR function. This is a varied role offering exposure to HR administration, payroll, learning and development, and the wider employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities HR Administration Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR. Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters and employee correspondence. Support onboarding and leaver processes. Update employee records for changes to contracts, hours, roles and personal details. Maintain absence and family leave records. Ensure HR files and records remain accurate and audit-ready. Payroll Support Process payroll administration for new starters and leavers. Collate and check working hours, overtime and other payroll information. Ensure salary, contract and leave changes are accurately communicated to payroll. Assist with resolving payroll queries and discrepancies. Maintain accurate records to support monthly payroll processing. Learning and Development Maintain employee training records and learning databases. Record training courses and employee completions.
