Senior Solicitor - Residential Real EstateA market leader in its sector, a central London law firm is seeking a Senior Solicitor to lead its Residential Real Estate team. The successful candidate will spearhead the Property department, focusing on residential property, light commercial and lease extensions. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience, and in the region of £100,000.Responsibilities

The successful Property Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of real estate matters, providing clear and commercial advice to a diverse client base. It is anticipated that the bulk of the caseload will be residential in nature, and will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, finance and lease extensions. Anticipate some light commercial, and probate and estate disposals.Marketing and Business Development

The departmental lead will also be responsible for the building out of the department, through the marketing and promotion of services internally and also external business development activities.Candidate

A Senior Associate level Solicitor with strong technical ability across both residential and commercial transactions.Good academics, excellent communication and people skills.Familiarity with compliance and accreditation processes.A desire and demonstrable ability to generate new business.Employer Proposition
