Band 6 Radiographer We are proud to be supporting an NHS organisation in the recruitment of a Band 6 General Radiographer for a short-term assignment within a busy Imaging Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer to join a well-established team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional services. The successful candidate will bring broad radiography experience, including a strong background in interventional radiography, and be confident working in a fast-paced NHS environment. Key Responsibilities Perform a range of diagnostic imaging examinations. Support interventional radiology procedures. Produce high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure patient safety and dignity at all times. Prepare patients for imaging and procedures. Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively. Comply with IR(ME)R and radiation protection standards. Maintain accurate patient records. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams. Support service quality and continuous improvement. Essential Requirements BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. HCPC registration as a Radiographer. Experience across general radiography services. Proven experience in interventional radiography. Strong knowledge of IR(ME)R and radiation safety.
