Contract Type: Permanent Complete Classroom Services are seeking a reliable and proactive Premises officer to join our facilities team supporting schools in the Southwark area. This is a vital role within our organisation, ensuring school sites operate efficiently, safely, and are well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the daily maintenance and operational management of school facilities Perform minor repairs, manual handling, porterage, and site set-up duties Ensure premises are secure and compliant with health and safety standards Monitor and report building and grounds issues requiring attention Provide support during school events, including set-up and pack-down Work collaboratively with the wider site and cleaning teams The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience in a facilities, site, or caretaking role (preferably in schools or education) Possess strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Be familiar with basic HandS procedures and safeguarding standards Be flexible, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS for work in schools Why Join ..... full job details .....
