Role Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer to join a growing facilities management and building services business, supporting procurement activities across multiple contracts and projects. This role will suit a commercially aware Buyer with experience in FM, MandE or construction environments, comfortable working within a small, hands-on team. Key Job Responsibilities Process site requisitions and place purchase orders, including call-off orders, in line with company procedures Check requested delivery dates can be met and notify site teams where this is not achievable Obtain and assess supplier quotations, considering lead times, terms, availability and discounts Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value prior to placing orders Monitor urgent deliveries and chase back-orders, liaising closely with site teams Maintain purchasing trackers, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records Check ..... full job details .....
