Coordinate the delivery of Software Product Development at the company by managing a programme of sprint teams responsible for key products. Develop and implement Strategy to maintain agile delivery of features and maintain output across all development teams resulting in continued rapid growth across all products.Responsibilities
Software Development Lifecycle: Manage all aspects of the SDLC to deliver Strategic objectives and maintain exceptional standard of software for B2B, B2C and Internal users.Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team of Software Engineers, Quality and Product professionals to ensure high performance across the team.Collaboration: work closely with Senior Stakeholders across the business to align goals and deliver the product visionPeople Growth: support team to enable personal and technical progressionContinuous Improvement: spearhead improvement in process and practices to elevate Product Development FlowResource Allocation: provide support where needed for the projects that move the organisation forwards.Client Focus: Craft and implement development practices that meet client and business needs.Planning and Organising: Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently.Innovation: Generate innovative solutions in work situations; try different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.Knowledge And Experience
Exceptional people skills and experience of managing medium-large in-house development teamsStrong technical understanding of modern coding practices and structuresA will to deliver across multiple parallel projects across different projectsDemonstrable experience of working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)Proven track record of Programme and Project ManagementA defined philosophy of Quality Methods as they relate to SDLCForward thinking and committed to continuous improvement within both software products and processAbility to be hands-on and effectively delegate where appropriate with a self-motivated, can-do attitude that leads by exampleStrong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skillsStrong commercial awareness and a strong ability to operate in commercially sensitive and important situationsSeniority level
