What are we looking for?We are looking for candidates with a relevant degree in Economics, Geography or related field. We seek graduates who can demonstrate:

A logical and analytical approach

Great problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to use your own initiative and to think creatively

Work experience in Economics would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning on the job with the Graduate Training Scheme.

Role and responsibilitiesAs a Graduate Economic Analyst, you will support the Economics team to provide economic input on planning statements, representations, economic benefit reports, socio-economic chapters and other similar reports. You will support research projects that include data collection, collation, analysis and interpretation, and present research analysis to colleagues and clients. You will gain experience working on sectors such as residential and regeneration schemes, town expansion, retail, commercial, leisure and renewable energy projects.
