Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage mechanical project schedules in line with the overall construction program. Coordinate design development and ensure compliance with mechanical specifications and codes. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and general contractors to ensure design intent is maintained. Cost and Budget Control: Prepare and manage mechanical budgets and forecasts. Review and approve subcontractor quotations and change orders. Track expenditures and manage cost control measures. Health, Safety and Compliance: Ensure all mechanical activities are compliant with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with local building codes and industry standards. Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, RFIs, change orders, and commissioning records. Manage project close-out including testing, commissioning, and handover. Requirements: Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical codes and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
