The new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Ely presents an exciting opportunity for the role of Healthcare Support Workers. The aim of the new CDC is to make it easier for people to access diagnostic services such as CT, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Echo and Respiratory outside of acute hospital facilities. This approach will help alleviate the pressure on hospitals, offer quicker access to tests, and enhance convenience for patients. We encourage professional development opportunities to grow within the scope of practice and upskill yourself with support from the wider team. This is a full time position, 37.5 flexible working hours per week in order to support a service that will eventually run 7 days a week and extended hours 7am-8pm. Please kindly note you will be required to attend training at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge as part of your role. You will be recruited at Band 2 if you have not yet completed CUH HCSW induction which includes completion of the Care Certificate and Competencies. Once completed you will move up to Band 3.
