Location: Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas (Mobile / Field-Based with occasional travel up to London)

Pay Rate: Up to -20.00 per hour (CIS)

Hours: Standard 40 hours per week (Overtime available up to 50-55 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join our busy property maintenance team. Operating primarily across Portsmouth and surrounding areas, with occasional travel into London, you will be delivering high-quality reactive maintenance, repairs, and void property refurbishments across social housing contracts.

This position offers excellent earning potential with regular overtime available for tradespeople looking to max out their hours.

• Carry out day-to-day reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and void works within social housing properties.

• Execute multi-trade tasks including 2nd fix carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, painting, and general handyman repairs.

• Diagnose faults and deliver clean, efficient, first-time fixes to high standards.

• Complete daily job sheets and maintain clear communication with contract managers and residents.

• Drive to various sites across Portsmouth, surrounding areas, and London while maintaining a clean, stocked company vehicle.

• Experience: Proven track record working as a Multi-Trader within social housing, local authority, or residential maintenance sectors.

• Core Skills: Competent across multiple primary trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, Painting/Decorating, Patching).

• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential for van usage).

• Compliance: Relevant CSCS Card, Asbestos Awareness, and basic hand/power tools.

• Attributes: Self-motivated, punctual, customer-focused, and comfortable with travel when required.

• Hourly Rate: Up to -20.00/hr paid via CIS.

• High Earning Potential: Optional overtime structure allowing you to work up to 50-55 hours per week.

• Vehicle: Dedicated company van and fuel card provided.
