Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Winchester, Hampshire

7.30AM - 4.30pm
Salary: -260 PER DAY CIS PAY

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine formwork requirements.
• Construct, assemble, and install formwork using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques to shape concrete structures accurately.
• Measure and cut materials such as timber, steel, and other specialized components to fit project needs.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of formwork to maintain safety standards and structural accuracy.
• Dismantle formwork after concrete has set while ensuring minimal damage for reuse or disposal.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures.
• CSCS CARD or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of structural systems such as roofing, masonry, and reinforcement placement.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
