Employment- Senior Associate
AJ Chambers are working with a med-sized practice in Central London who are seeking a Senior Employment Associate to join their employment team.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise predominantly employer clients across the full spectrum of employment law, including:Complex disciplinary and grievance mattersRedundancy processes and reorganisationsTUPE advice and business transfersEmployment Tribunal claims (unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract)Senior executive exits and negotiated settlementsRestrictive covenants and post-termination disputesDrafting and advising on employment contracts, service agreements and staff handbooksHR advisory support for retained clientsCorporate support on employment aspects of MandA and restructuringsSupervise and mentor junior lawyers and traineesPlay an active role in marketing, networking and business developmentAdvising on employee incentive arrangements and share schemes (in conjunction with Corporate and Tax teams)Manage Tribunal litigation from pre-claim strategy through to final hearing where requiredKey Requirements5+ year''s PQE in Employment lawStrong experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious mattersProven ability to run Employment Tribunal litigation independentlyExcellent drafting and negotiation skillsCommercially focused, solution-driven approachConfident in managing a significant caseload with minimal supervisionExperience supporting corporate transactions from an ..... full job details .....
