Job Summary We are recruiting an experienced MIG Welder for a client based in Halesfield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and assemble metal components with precision. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all welding tasks. Duties Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds. Fabricate metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in MIG welding; additional experience in stick welding is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in working with sheet metal. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Monday - Friday, early finishes on Fridays.
