This Trainee Shot Peen Operative position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role the successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training to learn the skills and techniques required to operate shot peening equipment on aircraft landing gear parts. Role Responsibilities will include:Undergo comprehensive training to understand the principles of shot peen and grit blasting and the operation of shot peening equipment and understand technical drawings, working within EASA 145 standards.Assist experienced shot peen operatives in the setup and operation of shot peening machines -Learn to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine shot peening requirementsPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of shot peening equipmentAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesParticipate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills ..... full job details .....
