Role Objectives and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that all clinical services are delivered to the required standards of clinical care across the contract.
Working closely with the Medical Director and Contract and Partnership Managers to provide clinical leadership, supporting effective clinical governance and related procedures to ensure compliance with relevant guidance and contractual requirements.
The Clinical Lead will participate in the on-call rota.
Accountable to the Medical Director on clinical matters.
Accountable to the Contract and Partnership Manager on operational and people management matters.

Essential Requirements
An experienced Forensic Clinician with extensive clinical forensic experience.
Level 6 Qualification or equivalent (e.g., Degree, Apprenticeship, Graduate Certificates, Diploma, NVQ Level 6).
Full membership of the NMC/HCPC with no restrictions.
Post-graduate forensic healthcare qualification (e.g., Level 7 Masters, Diploma, or Certificate, or FFLM).
Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region and UK.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Skills in people management, leadership, and change management.
Experience of expert witness work is advantageous.
Desirable
Experience in clinical training, education, and assessment.
Research and publication experience.
