Sales Engineer

John Charles Search is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in autonomous mobile robotics (AMRs) for warehousing and intralogistics. With thousands of systems deployed worldwide and a rapidly growing European presence, our client is transforming material handling with advanced automation technologies. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join the UK team. This role blends technical pre-sales expertise with customer engagement, supporting the business development cycle across the UK and broader EMEA region. The successful candidate will serve as the front-line technical contact for prospective clients, helping design and deliver tailored AMR solutions that address customer challenges. This is a remote position, requiring travel to client sites ( 50%) and occasional visits to European offices. Package: £45000 - £65000 + Comms and benefits Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead technical discussions with customers, understanding operational challenges and demonstrating how AMR solutions can add value. Solution Qualification: Assess customer requirements, sites, and workflows to ensure solution feasibility and commercial fit. Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with European and global solution engineering groups to develop customized system designs. Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, RFQ/RFP responses, and solution documentation.
