This position is ideal for someone who has worked within a regulated industry, such as defence, aerospace, automotive, or medical. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.)Experience working in a regulated environment such as aerospace, defence, automotive, or medical devicesProficiency in 3D CAD software such as Solidedge, SolidworksStrong understanding of design for manufacture (DFM), tolerances, and materialsExperience with technical documentation, change control, and version managementGood knowledge of relevant standards, certifications, or compliance proceduresExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsThe Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:Designing mechanical components and assemblies in line with project requirements and industry regulationsCreating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for productionCollaborating with internal teams across RandD, manufacturing, and qualityParticipating in design reviews and ensuring documentation is kept up to dateSupporting testing, validation, ..... full job details .....
