We''re currently looking for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to work at a fantastic school in Thurrock, starting immediately.Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we''re looking for more high-quality finance staff to work with these schools.About the role:The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, with Monday to Thursday 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-2pm. As the school finance Officer, you will be working as part of a close-knit team that works hard together to ensure the smooth running of financial services across the school. The finance assistants'' duties can include:Manage the preparation of the Financial Statements and the subsequent audit process through to the satisfactory completion of the annual auditRemain fully apprised of all financial rules and regulations that govern to ensure the School remains compliant with regulations and reporting requirementsEnsure all financial controls across the School are in place and work effectively and efficientlyBe the lead for all audit work and liaise with external auditors and staff on all relevant mattersThe ideal applicant will have:FCA/ ACA QualificationA real passion for working within an education environment.Experience utilising ORACLE within a finance role.Knowledge and experience of account procedures.High levels of computer literacy, ..... full job details .....
