Lab Technician Location: Clevedon, North Somerset Hours: 08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday 08:45 to 16:00 on Friday including 45 minutes paid lunch break and 45 minute early finish on a Friday Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent benefits Key Responsibilities of a Lab Technician: Maintain a safe, clean, and organised lab environment, ensuring it remains free of waste. Accurately compound samples in a timely manner to meet customer requirements. Manage lab consumables and raw materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained. Support sample despatch, providing timely and accurate information and samples to customers. Key Skills of a Lab Technician: A degree in Food Science or Chemistry (preferred). Experience in a Flavour Lab environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 6 (B) or above in Maths and English. Strong time management skills and a flexible approach to work. Full right to work in the UK.
