A well established leading UK manufacturer of drainage products is looking for an Injection Mould Setter to join its team based in Yaxley. We are seeking a skilled plastics injection mould setter who will be responsible for the setup, operation, and optimisation of injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

 

You will be working a weekend shift: 06.00 – 18.00 Friday / Saturday / Sunday. 

As the Injection Mould Setter you will:

- Set up, adjust, and maintain plastics manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot machine processes to minimise downtime.
- Conduct tooling changes safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

We are looking for an Injection Mould Setter with the following experience / qualifications:

- Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment as well as
setting experience.  - Ability to change tools and keep machines running at their optimum capacity.
- Able to calibrate master batch units in accordance with setting sheets. 
- Able to monitor machine performance against calculated timing and quality standards and to act promptly to production problems to ensure minimal reject level.
- Good communication skills at all levels to be able to liaise with operators, Supervisors and Production Managers with regards to production requirements.
- Reasonable level of computer literacy to key scrap quantities, downtime reasons and other information into our ERP system.
- Good numeracy skills and an ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, with a good standard of written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
