Building Safety and Fire Manager

Role Summary

• To support the Senior Building Safety & Compliance Manager in the provision of fire and building safety services, ensuring key operational targets are met or exceeded.
• To have an excellent understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Order 2005 (Updated 2022).
• Provide technical support and advice in relation to building safety and fire safety across a range of internal and external stakeholders that is supported by professional competency.
• Be responsible for the fire safety contracts, including fire servicing and maintenance, fire risk assessments, and remediation contracts.
• Be responsible and accountable for the reporting function and the work to ensure a 'golden thread' of information.
• Be responsible for building a culture of safety across the business.

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Salary: £58,005

Hours of work: 35

Contract: Permanent

Probation Period: 6 Months

Notice Period: 1 Month
