Environmental AdvisorLocation: Wakefield, West Yorkshire (with regional site travel) Job Type: Permanent Sector: Retail and Commercial Construction / MandE / Fit-OutThe RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Advisor to support retail, commercial and MandE construction projects across Wakefield and the wider Yorkshire region.The successful candidate will work closely with site and project teams to ensure environmental compliance, promote best practice and support the delivery of projects in line with current legislation and industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide environmental support across multiple live construction sitesEnsure compliance with UK environmental legislation and company proceduresAssist in the preparation and implementation of Environmental Management PlansConduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviewsMonitor waste management, pollution control and sustainability performanceSupport the investigation and reporting of environmental incidentsMaintain environmental documentation and KPI reportingAssist with ISO 14001 compliance and continuous improvement initiativesDeliver environmental briefings and toolbox talks to site teamsRequirementsExperience in an Environmental Advisor role within construction, MandE, fit-out or facilities/maintenance environmentsStrong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirementsExperience working across multiple sites/projectsFamiliarity with ISO 14001 management systemsStrong ..... full job details .....
