Site Manager (UKPN) - Substation Works

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee substation works on a UKPN site in Bedfordshire. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a solid background in civils or electrical infrastructure, particularly within substation environments.

Key Responsibilities:
·Day-to-day site management of civils and electrical works within the UKPN substation.
·Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety standards.
·Manage site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate with the project delivery team.
·Carry out daily briefings, site inductions, and toolbox talks.
·Ensure RAMS and permits are in place and adhered to.
·Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and quality checks.

Essential Skills & Certifications:

·SMSTS
·First Aid at Work
·Manual Handling
·Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
·Full UK Driving Licence

·UKPN Substation Entry authorisation
·BESC (Basic Electrical Safety Competence)
