About the role of CIPS Student Support:

  • CIPS Student Support is just the first step on the career ladder into CIPS education.  It is a structured programme for CIPS professionals who want to become CIPS tutors. 
  • You'd be working for a training provider who are accredited by CIPS and carry the accolate of Centre of Professional Excellence. 
  • This innovative training provider has dramatically reduced the drop out rate by providing one to one support to CIPS students, thus increasing pass rates - which are in the high 90s.
  • You would work as part of a CIPS dedicated training team.
  • You'd be allocated a caseload of CIPS students and you would support them with their studies.
  • You work exclusively from home and manage your own diary so you have some flexibility over your working hours. 

PLEASE NOTE:  THIS ROLE CANNOT BE CONDUCTED OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS.

What do you need?

  • You must possess MCIPS or be in the last stages of achieving it.  CIPS level 5 candidates will be considered.
  • You must have gained several hands on work experience within procurement.  This will allow you to contextualise theory into practical. 
  • You must have some experience of training / coaching / mentoring.  Perhaps you have trained colleagues in new systems, provided induction training, supported CIPS student with their studies.  All these experiences are relevant.
  • You must be able to provide training and communicate with your learners during office hours. 
  • You must be UK based.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with good written and spoken English is essential.
