Finance and Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership and ManagementLead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingDevelop and manage annual operating and capital budgetsOversee all accounting functions, including payroll, pensions, and month/year-end closeMonitor cash flow, reserves, and investmentsEnsure compliance with financial and regulatory requirementsLead annual audit and manage external auditor relationshipsOversee investment management arrangements Operations and Organisational ManagementOversee day-to-day operations and internal controlsDrive continuous improvement in systems, policies, and processesManage organisational risk, insurance, and complianceOversee IT, facilities, and supplier relationshipsEnsure strong data management and reporting systems Human Resources and AdministrationOversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits, policies, and complianceSupport workforce planning and organisational design Candidate Profile EssentialQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Senior finance leadership experience (FD or Head of Finance level)Strong experience in budgeting, reporting, and auditExperience working with boards or trusteesHands-on approach in a small or medium-sized organisationDesirableCharity or non-profit experienceExperience overseeing operations, HR, or ITExposure to complex income streams (e.g. restricted funding)Systems and process improvement ..... full job details .....
