Talentmark are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join an animal health company on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is site based in Newport, Wales. Salary: From 12.21 ph to 16.77 ph depending upon experience Quality Technician Role:Support laboratory operations, specimen processing, and quality assurance.Analysis of test specimens.Safely lift and transfer laboratory samples and equipment.Log and scan samples into proprietary applications/databases.Receive and catalogue supplies, including reagents and chemicals.Your Background:Hold a degree in Life Science or a relevant field, or have equivalent working experience.Strong pipetting skills and experience.Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.Experience and comfort level working with chemicals in a lab setting.Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Company: Our client is a global health care leader with a diversified portfolio of prescription medicines, vaccines and animal health products.
