SEN Teaching Assistant
Smile Education are proud to be working in partnership with the-Endeavour Multi Academy Trust-to recruit a dedicated and compassionate-Teaching Assistant-to provide-1:1 support-for a child returning to school on a full-time basis from the-Autumn Term.
Based in-Wolverhampton, this school benefits from excellent transport links, making it easily accessible from-Dudley, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will provide consistent, individualised support to a pupil with-highly complex additional needs, ensuring they can access learning in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
The role will be-classroom-based, working closely alongside the class teacher while taking responsibility for the child''s day-to-day support.
About the Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with highly complex additional needs.
- Deliver engaging, tailored activities to support the child''s learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team.
- Support the child''s emotional, educational and physical wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Deliver medical care following specialist training.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Recent experience supporting children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
- Experience supporting children with complex needs.
- Previous experience delivering medical care is advantageous but not essential.
- Confidence working independently whilst also being an effective member of a wider classroom team.
- A patient, caring and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
