As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will provide engineering technical direction, collaborate with key stakeholders and support multi-disciplinary project teams. You will provide design support for numerous non-infrastructure schemes and ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards, and completed on time and within budget.In the context of this role Water Non-Infrastructure typically refers to projects associated with potable water assets and within the bounds of a water treatment works or storage site.A key aspect of this role includes leading, coaching, and developing junior and less experienced engineers.Key responsibilities: Check and review civil design deliverables produced by other Civil Engineers to ensure the processes and procedures are followed. Input into Construction Design Management (CDM) and commissioning strategy meetings. Review and ensure the design CDM deliverables have been completed for projects.
