Workplace Management. This position is based at West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton, focusing on maintenance and reactive duties at a premier retail destination.Location
West Quay, Southampton (Site Based)Core Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 17:00pmMain Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with company PPM and task schedulesUndertake PPM activity in a quality, professional mannerUse and complete CAFM system accuratelyUndertake reactive maintenance works as directed by Help Desk and/or management teamManage JLL sub-contractors whilst working on siteReporting and Documentation
Production of technical and situational reports as requiredWriting activity reports in line with company procedures accurately and timelyProvide accurate timesheet information weekly and on timeProactively assist management team to produce quotations by providing accurate information for extra worksTeam and Client Relations
Be part of the current shift team (Early, late and weekend)Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients at all timesAttend team meetings/briefingsEnsure the company is presented in a positive light at all timesProvide first line out of hours call out for the siteTechnology and Compliance
Proactively use technology systems to ensure contractual complianceCarry out works in a professional and proactive mannerEscalate major site issues or incidents to line manager immediatelyPerform additional duties on site as requestedHealth, Safety and Quality
Understand requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislationEnsure materials and equipment are handled, stored and used with due regard to relevant legislationActively participate in health and safety processes including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditingCo-operate with the company to fulfil moral and legal duties and obligationsTechnical Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / NVQ or CandG (Essential)18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Essential)Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th EditionKnowledge of air conditioning, ventilation extraction, plumbing and general fabricExperience Requirements
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Commercial environmentExperience working in retail or shopping centre environments preferredSkills and Competencies
Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staffProactive approach to achieving the highest standard of operationGood IT and report writing skillsAbility to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver required services within given time constraintsWhat This Role Offers
