Electrical Project and Maintenance Engineer Role Available: 2 50ph / 500 day rateGatesheadDays Only (Mon-Fri)gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Electrical Project and Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based near GatesheadPerformance ObjectivesProduction Line Installation and Project DeliveryTake responsibility for electrical engineering activities associated with the installation of the new production line.Review electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules and equipment specifications.Ensure electrical installation work is completed to the required standards, specification and project programme.Coordinate cable installation, containment, control panels, motors, sensors, instrumentation and associated electrical equipment.Liaise with machinery suppliers and OEM engineers during installation and commissioning.Monitor contractor progress and ensure work is completed safely and to the required quality.Identify and resolve technical issues during installation.Maintain project documentation, drawings, test certificates and records.Assist with project cost control and procurement of electrical equipment and spares.CommissioningSupport the electrical commissioning of the production line.Carry out electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.Verify motors, drives, sensors, safety circuits, control panels and associated equipment.Support PLC, HMI, VSD/inverter and automation ..... full job details .....
