Test Automation Engineer - UiPath - Leading Investment Bank - London

My client, a leading investment bank, is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their team and lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative focused on evaluating UiPath''s Test Suite for automating testing across banking applications.

This is a hands-on role involving rapid prototyping, tool evaluation, and the delivery of automated test scenarios aimed at enhancing software quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

• Design and implement a test automation framework using UiPath
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for financial applications
• Validate software functionality, performance, and security
• Review requirements and design documents for testability
• Assess UiPath''s integration capabilities with CI/CD tools

Skills & Experience

Required

• Proven experience in IT automation projects
• Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Suite
• Strong programming skills in Java, VB.NET, or C#
• Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred

• UiPath certifications (e.g., Advanced RPA Developer or Testing Engineer)
• Experience testing financial applications (Front, Middle, Back Office)
• Background in capital markets or investment banking
• Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Postman)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
