Operations Manager

Operations Manager Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting an Operations Manager on behalf of our client in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer, with exciting projects and a great team. Duties: Leading the Production, Quality/Health/Safety/Environmental and Purchasing teams Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimising resource utilisation and minimising costs Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including raw materials, equipment, personnel, and capital, to ensure efficient production Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards through implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures. Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment Personnel Management: Recruit, train, and supervise production personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and optimisation Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimise costs and ensure timely availability of materials Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials Performance Reporting: Track and report on key performance ..... full job details .....
