This position is practical and hands-on, giving you responsibility for a broad range of day-to-day accounting activities and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of the company''s financial records.Your new roleIn this role, you will help ensure the finance department operates efficiently by overseeing key transactional duties, including:Managing daily banking tasks, monitoring several bank accounts, and carrying out regular reconciliationsHandling weekly Stripe and Sage Pay postingSales Ledger: performing customer credit checks, producing daily invoices, issuing credit notes, overseeing credit control, handling queries, preparing statements, processing card payments, and supporting Letters of CreditPurchase Ledger: onboarding new suppliers, coding and processing invoices, resolving supplier issues, and carrying out statement reconciliationsSupporting HMRC compliance and contributing to quarterly VAT return preparationProviding end-to-end finance support Administering the employee expenses process, including the approval cycleAssisting with month-end routines such as bank reconciliations, rebate calculations, carriage costs, inter-company recharges, and balance sheet reconciliationsCredit Control tasks ensuring overdue/debtor days remains to a minumum and cash flow buoyant.What you''ll need to succeedThe ideal ..... full job details .....
