Project Engineer
You will take ownership of projects that strengthen manufacturing capability, giving you clear scope to improve assets, systems and site infrastructure. This role offers direct responsibility for delivering practical upgrades that support safe, efficient aerospace production. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.Essential requirements Background in project engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to manage asset acquisition, commissioning and system integrationFamiliarity with safety systems such as Permit to Work and Risk Assessments Your role Deliver projects from scoping through to handover with clear control of time, cost and qualityLead asset acquisition, installation and commissioning with minimal operational disruptionManage the implementation of new software and hardware systemsPlan and coordinate infrastructure improvements across facilities and utilitiesProduce technical documentation, including User Requirement Specifications and Gantt plansMaintain project governance and support continuous improvement Your experience HNC in engineering, manufacturing or project management or equivalentProven experience delivering engineering projects in a regulated production settingStrong understanding of technical documentation and lifecycle managementAbility to coordinate suppliers, contractors and internal teamsSkilled in project planning tools and scheduling techniques Where you will be basedCanterbury area.
