The role will involve CMM and manual inspection, ensuring components meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities First-off, in-process, final, and receipt inspectionCMM inspection including running and maintaining programmesManual inspection of precision componentsCompletion of FAIRs using CMM and manual methodsSupporting NPI and liaising closely with EngineeringRaising and managing non-conformancesAccurate recording of inspection results within MRP systemsSupporting root cause analysis and continuous improvementMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and 5S Quality Inspection and Measuring Tools Confident using manual measuring equipment including: Vernier callipersMicrometers (internal, external, depth)Height gaugesBore gaugesThread gauges (GO/NO-GO) Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GDandT, and inspection plansExperience inspecting to tight tolerances and quality standards Skills and Experience Background in quality inspection within manufacturing or engineeringExperience with CMM and manual inspection methodsStrong attention to detail and right-first-time ..... full job details .....
