Senior Quantity SurveyorMerseyside 60,000 - 70,000 DOE + 6,000 Car AllowanceAn established and growing infrastructure services provider is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working on mechanical and electrical projects based in Croxteth.The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of complex MandE projects, working closely with an experienced team of engineers.The RoleWorking as part of a well-established commercial team, you will be responsible for the commercial management of MandE projects delivered under NEC contracts, from cost control through to final account.This is a fully office-based position and would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a solid grounding in NEC who is confident managing the commercial side of complex MandE projects from start to finish.Key responsibilities will include:Commercial management of MandE projects under NEC contractsHandling compensation events and early warningsManaging variation accountsProducing cost reports and forecastsReviewing and agreeing valuationsSupporting project teams with commercial guidancePreparing and negotiating final accountsBuilding strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholdersRequirementsPrevious experience as a Quantity SurveyorEssential: demonstrable NEC experience, including compensation events, early warnings and variation accountsMandE background preferredStrong understanding of industry standards, regulations and ..... full job details .....
