An automotive manufacturing business based in Sunderland, are looking for an experienced Quality Control Team Leader join their production department.

The ideal candidate will have experience of reworking products within a busy fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Inspectors and be responsible for their performance, safety, training, and time sheets.
• Working closely with Production Supervisors to plan and monitor all quality issues.
• Planning equipment, material, and manpower requirements to meet production schedule.
• Deliver daily team briefs on production figures and carry out regular appraisals.
• Generating reports on quality issues.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous experience of Quality inspection of components.
• The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.  
• Must be prepared to work shifts and overtime when required by the business.
