Assembly Technician Job Overview Working for a company producing a unique freewheel device based on gear elements and used in multiple industries and application, throughout the world.The components range from in size from less than 0.1 meters in diameter to 2.0 meters and can include; casings, bearings and control systems.Finished products range from 2 kg to 16,000 kg completed items.Good opportunity to become a member of a great team and be involved in helping with the general operations within the setting, assembly and testing of clutches within the company.Assembly Technician Job Requirements Requires a good understanding of general engineering practices and reading of technical drawings.Able to follow issued build instructions, verbal instruction, capable of clear and concise recording of clutch build data from assembled components.Ideally be experienced in the use of measurement equipment ranging from Verniers, Micrometres, Dial Test Indicators, and other such specialist gauging equipment.Must be comfortable with the use of hand tools for fine finishing of components.Understands Health and Safety requirements.Based within a commutable distance of Sunbury on Thames, London.
