The Opportunity Insignis Talent are currently seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Calibration and Maintenance Team of a leading multinational defence firm on a 12-month contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work within an experienced team supporting complex test platforms involved in the manufacture and testing of advanced systems. As an Electronics Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:Servicing and supporting Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE).Performing fault finding and repair tasks down to component level.Supporting routine calibrations and commissioning of test equipment.Conducting drift analysis and assisting with the calibration of equipment covering a wide range of technologies, from DC to Microwave.Interpreting technical documentation including instructions, handbooks, drawings, or specifications to guide maintenance and repairs.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff when required. Role Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:Minimum qualification: HNC or HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.Solid experience in the calibration and maintenance of test equipment and systems down to component level.Strong understanding of calibration principles and processes.Capability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues concurrently.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal and written ..... full job details .....
