The Senior Quantity Surveyor''s Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a highly regarded, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in South London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants autonomy, variety, and genuine career progression within a supportive Quantity Surveying team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across residential, education, healthcare, local authority, regeneration, refurbishment, and community-led projects across London and the South East.

Day to day, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, delivering cost plans, tender documentation, procurement advice, valuations, cost reports, change control, and final accounts.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also support junior Quantity Surveyors, attend client meetings, and work closely with senior leadership on larger instructions. This role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a stable consultancy, strong project variety, and a clear route to progression.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a RICS-accredited equivalent
MRICS, or currently working towards chartership
Strong cost consultancy / PQS experience
Excellent pre and post contract knowledge
Experience delivering projects from inception to completion
Confident with JCT contracts
Professional, client-facing, and commercially aware
Able to support junior Quantity Surveyors
Based within commuting distance of South London
