MK Search and selection are currently working with a well respected MandE contractor with a strong national presence across the commercial, education and healthcare sectors delivering for leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical project manager to join their scottish business unit. Reporting to a contracts manager you will be given full autonomy to manage a 5.5m mechanical cat A and cat B fit out project in Glasgow with more projects across the region upcoming. Getting involved pre-construction you will take control of a talented team before going to site to deliver the scheme to completion. Duties: Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance. Report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder. Liaise with Design and Coordination to ensure the delivery of design/working drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production. Delegate activities within the project team, while building strong working relationships. Management of the procurement process. Be an advocate for best-practice health and safety.
