Senior Project Engineer (EandP)Location: Manchester Hybrid Working: 3 days per week onsite Contract Length: 8 Months Rate: 550 - 600 per day Umbrella IR35 Status: Inside IR35We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (EandP) to support the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure projects within a high-profile national programme.This is an excellent opportunity for an established engineering professional with strong Overhead Line Equipment (OLE/OCS) and/or Third Rail experience to work on complex multidisciplinary rail projects in a safety-critical environment.Key Responsibilities Manage the application of engineering standards across design, construction, testing, and commissioning activities Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, rail standards, and engineering assurance requirements Provide technical leadership and guidance to Project Engineers and wider project teams Review contractor competence, engineering processes, and safety management systems Support construction activities, commissioning, testing, and site supervision Undertake engineering reviews, audits, and risk assessments including HAZOP activities Ensure environmental and CDM compliance across all project activities Participate in accident investigations where required Monitor project delivery against engineering, quality, and safety standardsEssential Experience and Qualifications Significant experience within Overhead Line Equipment (OLE/OCS) and/or Third Rail ..... full job details .....
