The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will build positive relationships with children, provide consistent care and emotional support, and safeguard their welfare. You will encourage education, hobbies, and independence, while helping with daily routines and record-keeping. Flexibility is important as the role includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates with experience of working with children or young people, ideally in residential care. You should be calm, resilient, adaptable, and a strong team player with good communication skills. An Enhanced DBS is required.

Essential: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within 2 years).

Desirable: Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
Salary & Benefits

£12.94/hour (£33,152 per annum) – Unqualified

£13.50/hour (£34,342 per annum) – Qualified (Level 3/4 Diploma)

£60 per sleep-in allowance
