Mechanical Test Technician Gloucestershire Double Day Shift 37.5 Hours per Week Permanent Competitive Salary + BenefitsAbout the RoleAdecco are recruiting for a Mechanical Test Technician to join a leading engineering manufacturer in Gloucestershire.This is a hands-on role within a specialist testing and production environment, where you will be responsible for the preparation, rigging, testing and inspection of complex mechanical equipment. Working as part of an experienced operations team, you will ensure products meet required performance, safety and quality standards before final release.This opportunity would suit a mechanically skilled individual with experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly, testing or rotating equipment environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and rig mechanical equipment for testing.Conduct performance and operational testing in line with documented procedures.Record, analyse and report test data accurately.Assess equipment against performance criteria and determine pass/fail status.Investigate and report any faults or non-conformances identified during testing.Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues.Assist with witnessed inspections and acceptance testing when required.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health and Safety procedures.Maintain testing equipment and work areas to a high standard.About YouTo be considered, you will ideally have:A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship, or ..... full job details .....
