This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to begin or develop a career supporting children and young people with hearing impairments and additional needs. The Role: Supporting students with hearing impairments within a classroom setting Using BSL to facilitate communication between pupils, staff and peers Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to adapt learning materials Providing 1:1 and small group support Promoting inclusion, confidence and independence ? The Ideal Candidate: Holds a BSL qualification (Level 1 minimum - Level 2/3 desirable) Passionate about working within Special Educational Needs (SEN) Patient, proactive and committed to inclusive education Strong communication and teamwork skills Open to entry-level applicants with relevant training or voluntary experience ?
