Electrical Technical Services Manager / Working Supervisor

A well-established building services contractor is seeking an Electrical Technical Services Manager / Working Supervisor to oversee electrical service delivery across a range of commercial environments.
This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory or technical management position, while still remaining involved with engineering and problem-solving.

The Role

• Lead and support electrical engineering teams across commercial sites
• Act as the technical lead for electrical building services, including LV systems, distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, and associated plant
• Oversee PPM strategies and ensure statutory and electrical compliance
• Provide technical support, engineering solutions, and guidance on remedial and small works projects
• Carry out site inspections, technical audits, fault finding, and troubleshooting
• Support engineers with complex technical issues and provide hands-on assistance where required
• Review electrical works and ensure they are completed to the required standards
• Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service and communication
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to engineers and subcontractors

What We''re Looking For

• Strong background in electrical building services maintenance
• Qualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications
• Experience supervising, leading, or mentoring electrical engineers
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and maintenance
• Confident fault finder with the ability to diagnose technical issues and recommend remedial works
• Experience with PPM, reactive maintenance, compliance, and small works
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
• An organised and confident communicator who can deal effectively with engineers, contractors, and clients
