A dynamic secondary school in Slough is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. In this role, you will deliver engaging and innovative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a lifelong appreciation for reading, writing, and effective communication.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver dynamic, high-quality English lessons aligned with curriculum requirements
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure all students achieve their potential
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and effective interventions as necessary
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and support whole-school literacy initiatives
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages high achievement and upholds excellent behaviour standards
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrated experience in teaching English at the secondary level
- Strong expertise in English language and literature, coupled with a genuine passion for the subject
- Skilled in effective classroom management and positive behaviour leadership
- Collaborative approach with a dedication to continuous professional growth and self-reflection
