Your new company You''ll be joining an established social housing provider responsible for maintaining a large portfolio of residential properties. They are looking to strengthen their maintenance team with an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to support ongoing repairs, planned works and property improvements.Your new role As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you''ll carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties. You''ll be responsible for identifying issues, completing repairs efficiently and ensuring properties are left to a high standard.Typical duties may include:Joinery repairs including doors, frames, locks, skirting and kitchen unitsBasic plumbing and bathroom repairsKitchen and bathroom maintenancePatch plastering and making goodWall and floor tilingBasic painting and decoratingGeneral property repairs and maintenanceWorking effectively in occupied homes while providing a professional service to tenantsWhat you''ll need to succeed You''ll ideally have previous experience working within social housing, council housing or domestic property maintenance, with the ability to complete a variety of repairs without requiring additional trades.You''ll also need:Strong experience across multiple tradesPrevious responsive repairs and maintenance experienceExperience working within occupied and void propertiesFull UK driving licenceGood fault-finding and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and customer service ..... full job details .....
