School Site Manager - Maidstone
Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: -14+ per hour

Academics are currently recruiting for a full-time School Site Manager to join a friendly and well-established school in Maidstone. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility, ideal for someone with experience in caretaking, facilities, or site management.

• Oversee the opening, closing, and security of the school premises
• Manage day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the site
• Carry out regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance
• Supervise contractors, cleaning staff, and site team members
• Set up rooms and facilities for school activities, events, and lettings
• Ensure the school grounds are safe, clean, and well maintained
• Respond to site-related issues promptly and effectively
• Maintain site procedures and support operational improvements

• Previous experience in a site manager, caretaker, or facilities role
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
